A male patient with CKD G5 — undergoing hemodialysis twice weekly for two months and advised for a kidney transplant — was treated with Ayurveda. Before treatment, his serum creatinine remained at 12 mg/dL even with dialysis. After Ayurvedic treatment: creatinine fell to 2.1 mg/dL, blood urea reduced significantly, hemoglobin rose from 9.7 to 14 g%, and eGFR improved from 5 to 34.8 mL/min/1.73m². Dialysis was completely stopped and the patient no longer required hemodialysis or a kidney transplant. This improvement remained stable for two years after discontinuing all medications except antihypertensives.
